Mad Hunky Hot Ass Whang Buttermilk BBQ Drumsticks
This is a great recipe for making Chicken BBQ Drumsticks with a tasty Blue Cheese sauce.
- Chicken Drummies
- Mad Hunky Hot Ass Whang!
- 1/4 stick unsalted butter
- Franks Red Hot Sauce
Blue Cheese Dip
- Castillo blue cheese
- 1/4 cup Hellemans Mayo
- Small pot of Sour Cream
- 2tbls of buttermilk
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1/2 lemon juice
Place the chicken into a zip lock bag and pour over 1 cup of buttermilk and leave overnight in the fridge.
Make the blue cheese dip. Mix together the crumbled blue cheese, mayo, sour cream, buttermilk, garlic and lemon.
Remove the excess buttermilk from the chicken and add the Mad Hunky Hot Ass Whang!
Place the Chicken and ABTs onto the Yoder or Grill at 300F and cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F, this took approx 1 hour. The chicken was smoked with hickory and pecan BBQers delight. Grill the chicken with indirect heat.
We had some of the Drummies with just the MH HAW but we also heated up a 1/4 stick of butter with equal amounts of Franks Hot Sauce and poured over the remaining Drummies.
The Drummies with just the Mad Hunky was awesome. Mixed with the Wing Sauce was just as good but different. The buttermilk makes the Drummies incredibly tender. Your family will be very happy with these Chicken BBQ Drumsticks
